simpson center for girls

LEED Silver major renovation & seismic retrofit of an existing 5-story, 34,000 GSF historic office building for a non-profit organization serving girls at risk.

Existing historic details were preserved including the terra cotta facade and ground floor fluted molding and column capitals. We removed layers of 1960s and 1980s era renovations to restore daylight and views throughout, and introduced modern materials and colors throughout with a playfulness befitting girls inc.'s energetic staff and mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold.
